Dr. Timothy Rutkowski graduated from the
College of
Veterinary Medicine at
Michigan
State
University in 1993. He began his career at
Amberleaf
Animal
Hospital in the
Chicago area. In 2000, he moved to the Philadelphia area and joined the staff of
Hopewell
Veterinary
Hospital. He has been the owner of
Hopewell
Veterinary
Hospital since 2003. He enjoys caring for a variety of animals, from dogs and cats of every shape and size to non-traditional pets like birds, reptiles, ferrets, chinchillas and many more.
Dr. Rutkowski and his wife, Lisa, live in
Elkins
Park with their three children, Andy (9),
Bethany (6) and Mark (3), and their one year old black lab, Molly. When he isn’t at
Hopewell, he will likely be found on the go with his family, hiking or canoeing, or visiting with friends and family. When he’s at home, he enjoys reading, playing card games and trying to keep up with his kids on the Wii.

Anthony Tursi, DVM
Dr. Anthony Tursi, a native Philadelphian and Central High School grad, has been in small animal practice since graduating from The School of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University in 1990. He and his wife Maria, also a veterinarian, met in school and moved back to the area after graduation. They have a 5 year old daughter, "Princess Julia" and several refugee cats. With their busy schedules they are not sure they can fit any more dependents in their lives at the moment. When Tony is not in the office he can be found working on his "money pit" or at the lake fishing.

Lauren Zahn, DVM
and Cuda
Dr Lauren Zahn grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and currently lives with her island dog, Cuda. Lauren graduated from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine (located in Grenada, West Indies) in 2007. After 3 years of vet school abroad (and a BS in Biology from The College of New Jersey) she spent her clinical year of school at the University of Minnesota and joined Hopewell Veterinary Hospital in the summer of 2008.

Angela Cooper-Carty, DVM
Dr. Carty received her B.S. in Microbiology from Howard University in 1989. She went on to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Angela has practiced veterinary medicine in and around Philadelphia since she came to Pennsylvania in 1999. She joined Hopewell Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2007. Her special interests include internal medicine and preventive health care for both young and older pets. Angela lives with her husband, children Cameron and Gabrielle, and a happy soccer playing Australian Shepherd named Riggs.
