For emergencies outside of business hours, please contact your nearest after‑hours emergency referral clinic.

If your pet experiences a medical emergency outside of our regular business hours, Hopewell Veterinary Hospital partners with trusted local emergency hospitals to ensure your pet receives the care they need—when they need it most.

During Business Hours

If your pet requires urgent attention during our normal hours (Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM), please call us right away at (215) 379-2536. We’ll do our best to see your pet as soon as possible or direct you to the appropriate facility.

Common Pet Emergencies

Seek emergency care immediately if your pet is experiencing:

  • Difficulty breathing or severe coughing
  • Bleeding that won’t stop
  • Ingestion of toxins or foreign objects
  • Collapse, seizures, or sudden disorientation
  • Persistent vomiting, bloating, or abdominal pain

Your pet’s health and safety are always our top priorities. We’ll work closely with emergency hospitals to ensure your pet receives seamless, compassionate care every step of the way.
