Timothy Rutkowski, DVM
Dr. Timothy Rutkowski graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University in 1993. He began his career at Amberleaf Animal Hospital in Illinois. In 2000, he moved to the Philadelphia area and joined the staff of Hopewell Veterinary Hospital. He has been the owner of Hopewell Veterinary Hospital since 2003. Dr. Rutkowski has an interest in caring for a variety of animals, from dogs and cats of every shape and size to non-traditional pets like birds, reptiles, and small mammals. When he's not at Hopewell, he enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with friends and family, including 2 dogs (Maggie and Toby) and a cat (Kimeko).
Angela Cooper, DVM
Dr. Angela Cooper received her B.S. in Microbiology from Howard University in 1989. She went on to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Cooper has practiced veterinary medicine in and around Philadelphia since she came to Pennsylvania in 1999. She joined Hopewell Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2007. Her special interests include internal medicine and preventive health care for both young and older pets. She enjoys being a vibrant part of the local community.
Anthony Tursi, DVM
Dr. Anthony Tursi, a native Philadelphian and Central High School grad, has been in small animal practice since graduating from The School of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University in 1990.
Lauren Zahn, DVM
Dr. Lauren Zahn grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and currently lives in the area with her family and her dog, Nutmeg. Dr. Zahn graduated from The College of New Jersey with a BS in Biology. She graduated from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine and spent an additional clinical year at the veterinary school of the University of Minnesota. Dr. Zahn joined Hopewell Veterinary Hospital in the summer of 2008.
Jennifer Romano Bucholtz, DVM
Dr. Jennifer Romano Bucholtz received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Biotechnology/Bioengineering from Lafayette College. She then went on to graduate from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Bucholtz completed an intensive internship program in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery in New York City and has been practicing in the Philadelphia area ever since. Her clinical interests include surgery, ultrasound, and preventative medicine. Dr. Bucholtz loves to dance, craft, and spend time with her family exploring Jenkintown and the surrounding communities.
